Training on intelligence analysis, Bishkek


On June 4th 2018 the Training on Intelligence Analysis of the project “EU Action against Drugs and Organized crime (EU-ACT)” funded by the European Union Instrument contributing to Stability and Peace started in Bishkek.

The training gather 25 officers of the Ministry of Interior, Customs, Penitentiary, State Committee on National Security and the representatives of Police Academy and State Law Academy to be teached by 2 trainers from the Spanish National Police on new knowledge and skills as well as best European practices on principles and methods of operative and strategic analysis for countering and investigation of drug trafficking and organized crime.

The project “EU Action against Drugs and Organized crime (EU-ACT)” is implemented from January 2017 to December 2020 and cover countries along the “Heroin Route”: Georgia, Ukraine, Tanzania, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan. Within three years of project implementation in Kyrgyzstan, activities will be implemented on training of law enforcement agencies on detection and investigation of drug crimes, improvement of international cooperation in countering transnational drug related crimes and assistance in conduction of joint interagency and international operative and investigative activities.
