EU-ACT Team working remotely during COVID-19 pandemic

The situation in Spain as a result of the COVID-19 virus has altered the routine of millions of people and is affecting all professional sectors.  As a result, the EU-ACT Coordination office in Madrid is closed to the public but we are still working together with our partners during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The EU-ACT team is working from home, putting into practice new ways of remote working through new technologies, to ensure continuity of our support.

Given the special situation in which we find ourselves, and in order to continue with the support to out stakeholders and partners we will reinforce virtual media and web-based activities.

In times such as this, communication and Information-sharing are crucial to ensure everybody’s safety.

Remember:

  • Avoiding close contact with people who are sick. If you are sick, stay home and
  • practice “social distancing.”
  • Washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol if soap and water are not available.
  • Avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Covering your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, then discarding the tissue.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces.
