UNODC-WCO Condensed Theoretical-Practical Container Control Program (CCP) Training was launched today at the Customs Clearance Zone of the Revenue Service of Georgia in Batumi. The intense week-long training covers both theoretical and practical aspects and will run until 26th of June for Georgian and Ukrainian participants of the Contain Control Program (CCP).
The Training Programme is organised by UNODC Regional Office in Georgia and World Customs Organisation. The EU-ACT project was invited to participate and provide financial support for the attendance of Georgian participants.
UNODC-WCO Condensed Theoretical-Practical CCP Training was opened by Ms. Naida Shamilova, UNODC Regional Coordinator in Black Sea Region, Mr. Peter Timmermans, technical expert of UNODC-WCO Container Control Programme of Compliance and Facilitation Directorate and Mr. Wout van Hees, Intelligence Analyst of the Netherlands Customs National Targeting Center.
In addition, Mr. David Morgan, EU-ACT project Regional Coordinator in the South Caucasus and local expert Ms. Salome Ugrekhelidze welcomed Georgian and Ukrainian participants of the intense training program.
