The Review and Planning Meeting of the project ’’EU Action against Drugs and Organised Crime (EU-ACT)’’ funded by the European Union Instrument contributing to Stability and Peace was held today in Tbilisi, Georgia. The six months regular meeting reviewed the project activities and progressed achieved. Furthermore, strategic directions and new activities have been also discussed. The meeting was concluded by plenary discussion.
The Review and Planning Meeting was co-chaired by EU-ACT Project Leader, Mr. Thomas Carter and Head of the Public International Law Department of the Ministry of Justice, Ms. Ketevan Sarajishvili.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Chief Prosecutor’s Office, Ministry of Corrections, Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education and Science, and Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Affairs. In addition, representative of the Delegation of the European Union to Georgia has also joined the meeting at the Training Center of Justice.
