The training on Intelligence Analysis was organised in Bishkek from 4th to 13th June.
Under the broad banner of Intelligence-Led Policing, the EU-ACT Project was asked to support capacity-building upon the existing structures within the Ministry of Interior departments and National State Committee departments, to enhance the skills of existing staff, to provide skills to new staff and to further the professionalising of the overall intelligence resource.
These complex and necessary knowledges should be addressed in different phases attended for different level of professionals. The Project provide expertise in courses design, train-the-trainers, and initial courses delivery. These will be embedded within the Ministry of Interior Academy, National State Committee Training Centre and Law Academy.
Three trainings have been identified to cover the basic necessities:
- Intelligence analysis: Principles, concepts and methodology - Addressed to investigative staff.
- Source of intelligence, collection and handling of information - Addressed to investigative staff.
- Strategic and Operational Analysis - Addressed to intelligence department staff.
