On 17th of September EU-ACT Georgia has delivered another face to face activity in Tbilisi, Georgia. The 2nd Collaborative Workshop on Drugs related Issues was held with participation of multiple governmental institutions and state agencies: Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia, Ministry of Justice of Georgia, National Monitoring Centre on Drugs, Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Affairs, National Agency on Crime Prevention and Probation, Centre for Mental Health and Prevention of Addiction (CMHPA), Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and Office of the Resource Officers of the Educational Institutions.
Since the Covid-19 outbreak, EU-ACT Georgia has delivered the first face to face and a semi-online workshop in Tbilisi at the Training Centre of Justice. Last week ( 7 - 11 Sept 2020) EU-ACT project has successfully completed a workshop on rehabilitation programme for drugs and substance dependent people in Special Penitentiary Service of Georgia and the Probation Agency.
EU-ACT Project Ukraine, at the request of the EU Delegation in Ukraine, organise a mixed format workshop on EU legislation and on profiling synthetic narcotic drugs and other methods in the field of combating drug trafficking, from 8th to 9th of September 2020 in Kiev, Ukraine.
